WILL ALLISON
Will Allison has led the Young Democrats of Allegheny County as its President since 2025. In that capacity he aims to build a YDAC that is larger, more representative, and more influential within the Democratic Party.
Professionally, Will serves the public as a Community Affairs Liaison in the office of Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor. In that role he makes connections across Pittsburgh neighborhoods and helps implement the Mayor’s vision of a Pittsburgh that is every family’s first choice.
Previously, Will led the revival of the College Democrats at the University of Pittsburgh from 2023-2024. Over that year, he increased membership from ~10 students to over 200 and built a team that has gone on to serve Allegheny County in both political campaigns and in public service.

CHAVAYSHA CHANEY
Chavaysha Chaney currently serves as a Councilwoman in Wilkinsburg. Professionally, she is a Water Equity Director, advancing equitable infrastructure in environmental justice communities through strategic funding and municipal partnerships. With a background in community advocacy, policy, and state and federal grants, Chavaysha is committed to transparency, environmental justice, and building systems that work for everyone—not just a few.
She brings both lived experience and technical expertise to the work of creating stronger, more accountable communities. Outside of her work, you can find her running, traveling, or exploring hidden gems around the region with friends and family.

Tom Ross is a Pitt alum with a degree in Political Science and History. He first got involved in local politics through his tenure as treasurer and volunteer coordinator of the College Democrats at Pitt. Since then, Tom has worked for State Representative Dan Frankel, and currently works as the field director for Brittany Bloam’s campaign for PA House District 45.

Bre Francis
Bre is a rising senior at the University of Pittsburgh where she majors in Political Science and minors in Economics and Museum Studies. She is also the media director and national competitor of the William Pitt Debating Union and Vice President of Professional Development in her law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta. Bre has worked with several campaigns, including Vote for Equality in 2024 and multiple countywide races in 2025, and plans to start law school at Duquesne University next fall. She is passionate about justice reform and education funding throughout the county and can’t wait to continue expanding YDAC in coming years!
